Ever the constant blogger.....

Well as you can see, I am not at all consistent with my blogging. The holidays are over and it is now a new year. I am back to working out, and hopefully Derrick and I will get healthier this year. This is our goal. For over a week now, we have had hard freezes at night. This is so unheard of for Florida. :-) So much for the global warming theory. Maybe this is why I don't blog a whole bunch, I don't know what else to say. More later....

An All-Nighter isn't what it used to be.....

Well here it is 7:10am and I have yet to go to sleep. I used to think an all-nighter was something you did when you were out partying. Now, it is merely an insomniac at her best. :-) I cleaned the bathroom, chatted online with an old high school friend, cleaned the kitchen, and it never kicked in. I am now starting to nod off a little and it is time to feed the horses. I have a little kitten who was attacked by something. I am bottle feeding, hoping, and praying it starts to heal up. Poor thing had a rough time, and I am still not sure it is out of the woods. Well, not an exciting post, but I am trying to do better and need to start somewhere. :-) Off to feed the horses.

20th High School Reunion

I am back from my 20th high school reunion. I loved seeing my old friends, but I didn't realize how little I missed the "party" lifestyle that Waynesville revolves around. I am quite happy with a visit here and there to see my old friends. I loved staying with Barb and Lisa. It felt like old times. Chris, Jimmy, Brian, Aaron, Vicki, Trish and the gang, and everyone else I saw. There were a few people who didn't make it, and I would have loved to see them. All-in-all it was a great turn out and a great time. See ya at the 30!!!

Mariner of the Seas

Well, we have made it home from the cruise. Safe and Sound no less. No hurricanes and for the most part it was great weather. This is a pic of us, with our friends Eddie & Laura and Derrick's cousin Canton and his wife Melissa. We had a great time. Eddie learned how to scuba dive this trip. Derrick, Canton, Laura, and I all climbed the Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. Derrick, Eddie, Laura, and I all climbed the rock wall on the ship too. That was real fun, but it will wear you out. It doesn't look like it would be that difficult. LOL Melissa had a good time, but she will have more fun next time. She didn't get to do a lot. She is 6 1/2 months pregnant. So, darn the luck, we are all going to have to go again next year. :-)

Cape Cod Trip

Derrick and I went to Cape Cod this weekend to visit a friend. It is the first time we have been there. It was so gorgeous!! The first day it was kind of rainy and overcast. A tad bit cool for us southerners. LOL The next day was perfect. It was warm, but not too hot. We walked the beach, took pictures of the light house, and had lobster rolls. They were delicious. It was beautiful. I would definitely go again, and would recommend it to everyone!!

Hello

I am going to give this a try. We will see how I do, but for now all is well. It is a wonderful 3-day weekend and I am just piddling. LOL. Sundi, if you see this, I hope you are proud of me. I will try to keep you updated on your brother as well. Just don't expect much from me. LOL I will try and keep Collin updates on here as well as the vacation pics.
